Become a Judge

We are now recruiting judges for the 2023 Public Domain Film and Music Festival. If you have experience with film, literature, music, acting, or directing, please let us know if you want to join our panel of judges. If you are selected to be a judge, you will be asked to:

View 3-5 short films (five minutes or less);
Rate each entry according to a judging rubric;
Provide brief written feedback to festival participants;

You are invited to attend the public screening event and awards presentation on February 10th, if desired.

Important Dates:

January 31st: judges receive online access to films
February 7th: deadline for judges' scores and written feedback
February 10th: public screening event and awards presentation
